Day two of trying to fit in with the stylish crew and I’m already flapping about outfits! Luckily I’ve only one show to watch today, however there’s a dinner and party after…internal battles about whether a 100% silk bomber jacket is the correct choice of attire at a function where drink and food will be dangerously close, is soon turned over with a “what’s the worst that could happen” decision.
I opted for the below:
PPQ are one of those labels I’ve always loved, their grunge sixties inspired outfits can usually do no wrong. This years AW14 collection still kept that swinging sixties inspiration. Models sashayed down the catwalk with black head bands tied under the chin making the silk jumpsuits and evening dresses appear oh so cool. A couple of models get a bit confused as to where the catwalk exit is, I felt for them others took to placing bets as to who would go the correct way and who would cause a collision…I’m later told that three models hadn’t turned up for the run through, safe to say lesson learned!
Dinner and drinks were soon served in the uber cool Sanderson bar but it was an early night for me as Saturdays schedule had eight shows to complete!
I won’t go through each show and designer but stand out collections had to be Holly Fulton and her wooden crafted high heels and metallic knee high boots:
Hotly tipped Xiao Li:
And lastly the most wearable collection had to be Lara Quints who showed at Fashion Scout:
Loved seeing some redheads represented on the Fashion Scout catwalk and according to Vogue.com us redheads are the latest trend, thank god the ginger crew needs all the help we can get!
